I find this can be used in a standalone lesson and most of the words the kids will have heard already at some point in their lives so you don't really even have to do any pre-teaching of vocabulary words. This is really more of a relaxing fun class for the kids where they can get a little competitive and get super genki! They love making up team names, especially random English words. Team Potato was apparently funnier than Robin Williams dressed as an old woman. Once you pick the teams and they pick their names, have them do Rock, Paper, Scissors to see which team goes first. They will pick a question, and any team can answer it. The first to buzz in if you have buzzers, or the first hand you see raised can answer. If its wrong, then another team can steal. Standard Jeopardy rules. With this version, however, you don't have to answer in the form of a question. Multiple choice only.
Enjoy and have fun! Feedback is always welcome in the comment section below!
